Truth be told, this is the exact question we at Some Sun happened to be asking ourselves in 2020. Why was it so difficult to find sun protection clothing that was on trend, modern and of high quality? We searched high and low. We weren't able to find any options that reflected our own style. All of the clothing options from Coolibar, UVBloq, REI etc, all make styles that didn't fit our aesthetic. We wanted something we could wear on a bike ride, on a walk, to the grocery store, window browsing in NYC, to dinner, for cocktails with friends on a terrace...
This is one of the reasons we created Some Sun. We create SPF shirts and UPF clothing and resortwear that can be worn anywhere because they are styles we would normally have in our wardrobe, at a quality level that we would expect and wear in our daily lives.
