Some Sun is a UPF sun protection clothing brand treating sun protection as part of personal style, not a category of technical apparel. Our UPF 50+ clothing brings together textile expertise, considered materials, and refined tailoring to create pieces that belong in a wardrobe—not just in the sun.

Born from a personal need for everyday UPF clothing after developing an allergy to sunscreen, Some Sun was founded in 2021 and launched in 2023. The brand’s approach is informed by our founder's background in biochemistry and sustainability,  having previously led sustainable fiber initiatives at Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger.
